It is impossible to explain to someone what it is like to grow up with a sibling who has special needs. No one can really understand unless they have lived it themselves. But one thing that keeps coming back to me is something that my mom always says when she talks to people about my older sister. She says, “God does not give you any task he feels you are incapable of handling,” and I feel that this sums it up perfectly. I am not super religious, but I do believe that my sister was given to my family because God knew we would take care of her and love her just like anyone else. Any family that has a sibling or a child with special needs is truly a special family who understands patience and compassion, and that is my advice for anyone new to this experience. Have patience; have compassion; because these people need extra love and support and the rest of the world doesn’t always understand that - but as their family it is our duty to protect, encourage, and most importantly, to LOVE them always.
So some men were arrested for plotting .. Thats cute. What about acts of terrorism that have already happened for the exact same cause these men claim to have been fighting for!? A man killed 4 people during his own jihad shooting spree and nobody is talking about it… http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/09/16/brendan-tevlin-shooting-where-outrage-over-killing-by-self-professed-jihadist/
