3. The Sorting Hat

Er- Sorting cups? Get Solo cups from the dollar store in the colors of each house. When guests enter, sort them and give them their cups for the rest of the party!

4. Decorations and Declarations

You can set the wizard mood without a single flick of your wand. Print out candles and hang them from any ceiling you can reach, grab some white wrapping paper and use red paint to create your own Chamber of Secrets message, and don't forget the Ministry of Magic Sign above your toilet!

5. Polyjuice Potion

A magical take on Jungle Juice, this bowl can pack quite the punch. Guests can grab a mask of the party hosts as they transform with this beverage of the night. (Make masks in advance with some printed out photos and popsicle sticks!)

8. Have You Seen This Wizard?

If a party exists without Instagram evidence, did it really exist at all? I'm pretty sure they don't, so make sure your photo ops are top of the line!

9. Hidden Horcruxes & Battling the Dragon

Just to add a whole new element to the party, hide all seven horcruxes! Anyone who finds them is entered to battle the dragon later in the night. (After all when a dragon is only ten bucks, how can you pass that up?)

10. Wizarding Robes

The only way to complete the best party of this generation is with the full costume. Or, you can opt to mod up the gang. If you're not feeling the classic robes throw on some letterman jackets and jock socks (only if they're Gryffindor gold of course!).
