8 Things You Shouldn't Wear On A Date

As girls, we spend ridiculous amounts of time prepping for dates, but there as some beauty items that just shouldn't be worn if you're planning on going home with a guy.

1. Nipple Concealers

Because no guy wants to see these awkward rubber things over your nipples when he goes to undress you. Talk about a turn-off.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I've put way too much of my own money into these things ,because they are so useful! But, they are not a good idea for a date.

2. Any Sort of Volumizing Insert

Because no guy wants to try to run his hands through your hair, only to find this awkward spiky thing dwelling inside your already somewhat ridiculous looking beehive hairstyle.

3. Corset Tops

Or basically, any fashion that you have to go to this much work to put on or take off. He's going to be not in the mood anymore by the time he's gotten you out of it.

4. Bun Donuts

I love these things, and I use them religiously (Like, seriously, they are a genius invention)...

But, for the same reason as the hair inserts, you probably shouldn't wear them if you're planning on going home with a guy unless you plan on painstakingly keeping your hair up that way.

5. Control Top Hosiery

It's difficult to be comfortable in. You're not going to be as attractive if you're stiffly trying to keep your control top tights from doing that awkward rolling down thing that tights do. Also, they're just so difficult and unnatural.

I can attest for how amazing these things can be, but they're not good date-wear.

6. Clip In Hair Extensions

Because you don't want to awkwardly tell him you have to go take out your hair so it doesn't get messed up.

7. Bras That You've Crossed Weardly in the Back

While it's pretty amusing to watch a guy's confusion as he unstraps your bra and it doesn't go anywhere because of crossing back straps...

These are confusing. If I can't figure out how to even make it work, how is he going to figure out how to take it off of you? Or are you going to sit there and awkwardly fumble around? Either way, it doesn't end well.

8. Underwear You'd Be Embarrassed For Anyone To See

This isn't just weird underwear that say crap like "I'd Do Me," but also underwear that you think a woman in a nursing home would wear.

We all have that random pair of panties that are comfortable that we don't get rid of, but we'd never want anyone to actually see. Don't wear them on a date.
