    1. Apple

    Steve Jobs was fired in 1985. After Apple failed to impress the masses with its release of the Macintosh in 1996, the company begged Jobs to come back. Steve Jobs was able to completely turn around Apple and make it into one of the most profitable tech companies in the world.

    2. YouTube

    Despite the fact that YouTube was extremely popular with the masses, this did not translate into profitability for the company. Companies were taking advantage of YouTube in its early years to upload videos at no cost. When Google finally bought out YouTube, the company did a complete overhaul of its advertising strategy. Companies can now pay additional funds to upload videos that are longer than the current restrictions. This strategy has helped YouTube become a highly competitive company on the Internet.

    3. Ford Motor

    In the company’s first beginnings in 1899, Ford struggled to sell any automobiles. People initially thought that the cars were overpriced and of low quality. As Henry Ford continued to try to develop automobiles of better quality, consumers began to notice. By 1914, the company had made sales of $250,000.

    4. Disney

    In the 1920s, The Walt Disney Co. faced tremendous setbacks in its business operations. The company lost rights to popular animation characters such as Oswald the Rabit. and went into millions of dollars of debt by 1930. After the company released, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” it was able to make a great comeback.

    5. Wendy’s

    After the company’s CEO retired in 1982, Wendy’s faced setbacks in its breakfast menu. Consumers were not impressed with the food of Wendy’s. Then, James Near came into an executive role and was able to turn around the company with its catchy advertisements.
