Velocireader was designed for the commuter in mind. This speed reading app is clean and easy to use. If you do not want to connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer just email the files and open them on your device. This app is perfect for when you want to read a book and not use a tablet. Pocket (Free) ISO and Android

    Pocket / Via getpocket.com

Pocket is a great app if you are the kind of person that has a ton of bookmarks. Pocket helps you organize your links by creating tags and putting them in the right spot. Even though this app is free it does have it's limitations. When you pay the $5.00 a month subscription there are more features to organize your content.

    ReadQuick (ISO)

ReadQuick is very similar the only difference that this app lets you speed read the links that you saved through apps like pocket or instapaper. For the price you would think it would do more but it is still a solid app
