Dear Taylor Swift,
Let me get straight to the point. I need you to come to my best friend's bachelorette party in St. Louis on March 13, 2015. Her name is Kaitlin Rulon, we call her Ru, and basically she is the best person ever.
Taylor, (can I call you Taylor?) I realize that you are a ridiculously huge celebrity and that you might, just might have plans on a Friday night two months from now. I also realize that getting you to come anywhere might cost a lot of money, and let's face it I'm a recent college graduate who is currently a substitute teacher…I'm not exactly rolling in the big bucks. Furthermore, I am not a crazy, crazy fan in the sense that I don't have a Twitter, I don't tweet at you all day, I don't even own a poster of you or tell people that in real life we would be best friends. That last sentence is kind of lie, I actually did say that this past weekend and my friends told me not to include that part because it's too much of a cliché. So, while I may not dream of you day and night, I did involuntarily scream at your Speak Now concert and you have a big place in my heart, T Swift. Basically, we are a couple of normal gals who listen to you on repeat, sincerely think you're great and think you'd have a swell evening hanging with us/playing a couple or a hundred songs for us in the good ole city of St. Louis.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Amanda Schirmer. I am applying to be a middle school teacher, I just got married last year, I'm deathly allergic to peanuts, and I've been a loyal fan of yours for the past 5 years. I loved your country self and your newly discovered pop self. I don't have a huge, dramatic story or a super compelling reason for you to travel all the way to St. Louis, other than that my best friend is getting married and I think it would be a good night for all if you were in attendance. My friends and I are pretty low key but, I assure you, super fun. And like I said, Ru is the best. She is a biology teacher who loves not only high school kids, but everyone in her life in an incredible way. She is deeply caring, so loyal, and absolutely hilarious.
Anyways, it would make all of our years and our lives if you would come. Or send a vid. Or something. I've attached a picture to show you how fun we are. See below.
In conclusion Taylor, if a simple letter isn't enough, I understand. I could also try to talk my guy friends into reenacting your Blank Space music video, which by the way was brilliant. Just let me know.
