19 Extremely Relatable BTS Lyrics That Are Guaranteed To Make You Feel Seen And Understood

"Yesterday’s me, today’s me, tomorrow’s me, without exception, they're all me."

If there's one thing the 7-member Korean sensation BTS knows how to do, it's touching hearts with their moving lyrics and powerful performances.

It's not easy drawing up a list of some of the most relatable BTS lyrics — simply because we're SO spoilt for choice.

Nevertheless, here is my attempt at the arduous task of compiling some of my favourite comforting and relatable BTS lyrics. Stay with me because this one's about to be as much of a rollercoaster ride as their discography is.

If you've never done something silly or weird in front of your crush, I'm going to assume you're lying. This song is such a mood.

An evergreen bop that — to grossly oversimplify it — tackles apathy in front of injustice in a way that will always be relevant, all I have to say for this one is, "Are they wrong?"

"If you see the news and don’t feel anything. If you see that comment and don’t feel anything. if that hatred doesn’t make you feel anything. You’re not normal but abnormal."

    16. "All right, a repeated seesaw game. I try to put an end to it only now. All right, a boring seesaw game. Someone has to get off this seesaw. Though I can’t." — "Trivia 轉 : Seesaw" (2018)

Whether romantic or not, sometimes certain relationships do more harm than good and it becomes time to move on — even though our hearts might not agree to it. The lyrics of this song portray the visceral feelings of that seesaw game very well.

“Let’s now make the decision whether to get off or not. A repetitive seesaw game. Now, let's stop.”

What is it about moving houses that makes you so introspective? "Moving On" succinctly puts into words the attachment to the memories you make in a place you've stayed for a while and the things you leave behind.

"Goodbye to this place that we became attached to. Let’s move. Now to a higher place. While taking the last box from the empty room, I look back for a moment. To the times when we cried and laughed, goodbye now."

Doesn't every artist fear losing passion for their art some day? If you feel the same, then the lyrics of "Black Swan" will resonate with you.

"Slowly, I open my eyes. This is my workroom, my studio. Even if harsh waves brush against me in the darkness, I will never get dragged away again."

It takes all our past to make us who we are today and our present to light the way for the future. "Answer: Love Myself" is for those who are learning to love themselves.

"Yesterday’s me, today’s me, tomorrow’s me (I’m learning how to love myself), without exception, all together, they are all me."
