Beat The Heat And Eat Well

Going on vacation to Disneyland or Knott's? This could be just the helping hand you were seeking... especially if you were looking to eat!

Summertime is quick upon us and that might very well mean that there is a vacation in store for you! Many of your vacations will be taking you to Disneyland an Knott's Berry Farm... well, it's gonna cost a bit o' green... and yes... I mean money!

So if you're looking to save a bit of money, it'd be a great idea to eat outside of... either of those places.

You might then wonder... well, what's good? Or you may just settle for eating at the same old chain restaurants that you're used to.

Well about 20 - 25 minutes away from Disneyland and 5 - 10 minutes from Knott's there is a quiet, unassuming little dinner... diner... cafe... restaurant... that serves some amazing food. It doesn't cost that much either... it has a fairly wide selection of foods and a plethora of different drinks!

By the way... the restaurant is called John's.

These aren't actually John's fries but they look pretty similar!

John's has portions that are definitely enough to fill you up and fuel your day. I personally recommend the cheeseburger and fries.... seriously... you will take one taste of their burgers and wonder why you even bother with places like Carl's jr. or Burger King!

John's is located on the corner of Cerritos Ave. and Denni st. in Cypress, CA.... not too far from Disneyland or especially Knott's Berry Farm... you can of course visit their website for more specific directions!

You can eat inside as their are various tables all around and if you're in a hurry you can take your food to go! The staff is helpful and courteous, the restraunt looks nice and is always clean and the location is also pleasant and inviting!

Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention... it's probably not too big of a deal but... I don't know if it's like this everywhere... Dr. Pepper made a variety called Cherry Vanilla which I've been unable to find in any stores... but John's has the flavor! Go to it now!
