A Couple Of Poetic Type Things

I didn't do an article last week and I was unmotivated to do something new this week but I did write a few original poems! Check them out!

ApoloJEEZ!

Apologies for no new uploads

I wanted to put something up

But circumstances have dictated

That had you waited and waited

My mind would still be shut

Closed an gated

Almost like it was ill-fated

To be something like this way

And as you gaze at this today

I still have nothing

My dreams were shattered

And people wondered what's the matter

I thought I could complain

But I was met with resounding disdain

It makes so little difference though

Even in the toughest times

I will go for her!

That's not fair

It isn't right

It isn't fair

No one said life was

I don't care!

You promised me a chance

I prepared for that chance

Found a smile to spur me on

To comfort me

And all I get is a maybe!

I'm sorry

that is wrong

I'm sorry that is broken

Two audits makes some sense

But why bring a soldier so intense

And ready for battle

When there isn't even a war on

Why promise something that isn't there

And then not even say it?

That not fair!

Through the Bird

It lets me speak

And to you I may be heard

Though what I say may sound absurd

What a curious little bird

But at least it is something.

I do not speak much

As when I do

I will often speak of you

You are always on my mind

And I don't

But my friends do

They all have the tales

Of lives and works and special things

Things that I can't hope to swing

And I don't know what tomorrow brings

But I can say a simple phrase on the bird

And maybe the world will know

Maybe the world will see

Or maybe you'll see

That's what means the world to me!
