I Need To Know The Most Polar Opposite Double Feature You've Ever Sat Through At The Movies

I'm talking the Barbie x Oppenheimer double bill life.

Barbie and Oppenheimer are set to burst into theaters everywhere on the SAME day, this Friday.

And I can barely contain my excitement for both films.

Barbie actually looks awesome and fun, and I love Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Plus, Christopher Nolan is one of my all-time favorite directors, so these two things will make my week.

So, two polar opposites in the film world and one double feature screening... you know where I'm going with this.

I'm sure many fans will flock to the theater to do a Barbie x Oppenheimer double bill — and it got me thinking: What is the wildest double feature you’ve sat through at a movie theater, and what did you love (or hate) about it?

Whether it's a double (or triple) bill of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, where you've become a part of the theater furniture after over nine hours of watching.

Or maybe you've seen a "polar opposite" combo on the same night? I'm thinking about the time The Dark Knight and Mamma Mia! were released on the same day.

Heath Ledger's Joker and Amanda Seyfried's Sophie Sheridan

Or maybe, you just couldn't hold off on seeing Bong Joon-ho's thrilling Parasite on the same day you indulged in the nostalgia that is The Addams Family?

Parasite's Song Kang-ho as Kim Ki-taek, and The Addams Family's Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams

Also, when you saw the double feature that day, did you prefer one movie over the other? Was the experience in the theater wilder than the other? For instance, did people wear Mama Mia! outfits while they watched The Dark Knight?

Whatever wild double feature you've had the pleasure of seeing, let's take a trip down memory lane together, and tell us in the comments or in this Google form — and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post!
