    Keep Calm & Twerk On

This comedy sketch on YouTube shows us how three suburban women check out the newest workout craze: Twerkout! Peppered with references for teens, moms, and for any adult with any pop culture experience, there's something for everyone to giggle at in "Keep Calm & Twerk On."

"Keep Calm & Twerk On" is co-written and co-directed by the talented voiceover actress, Alicyn Packard (Little Miss Sunshine on the "Mr. Men Show," the female Blood Elf in the popular video game, "World of Warcraft," among many other acting and VO credits) and Suzanne Strong (fashion photographer, music video director, and cinematographer with an upcoming indie feature involving multiverse theory).

Alicyn and Suzanne came up with the idea when Suzanne was trying to teach Alicyn to twerk on the dance floor at LA Decom. They realized they had gold for a comedy sketch with the recent "white-i-fication" of twerking when Miley Cyrus did her (non!) twerking at the VMAs. They knew it would only be a matter of time that twerking-as-fitness-class would join the ranks of other popular workout crazes, such as "hip-hop aerobics!" and that pole dancing fitness class trend that happened a few years ago.

They enlisted Suzanne's 14-year-old daughter, Paloma Strong, to assist with the writing to help appeal to teens. Plus she's totally hilarious. Paloma also has a very important role in the sketch as Isabella.

Alicyn and Suzanne realized they needed an original booty shakin' song for the sketch, so Suzanne hired her teenage son, Romeal Strong, to create an original dirty beat to play out the sketch.

The family that twerks together, stays together!

They reached out to their community of friends to cast the extras. And boy, did the extras deliver! There's a 40 second montage of attempted twerking at the end. That sounds like a lot, but many have declared Fierce Kitty Twerker to be their spirit animal.

Alicyn plays the role of Rachel and Suzanne plays the role of Brooke. Their friend, Danielle Hoetmer plays the role of Aubrey.

    Hope you enjoy!
