The new 'do is apparently because Franco is gearing up to appear in a music video for rapper Riff Raff.
This is kinda ironic because at one point, Riff Raff was planning on suing the makers of Franco's film Spring Breakers for stealing his ~iconic~ look for Franco's character Alien.
