This is Aashna Belenje and her brother Avik.
They live in Saratoga, California, with their parents.
Avik was recently supposed to perform in a music class concert, but lost his recorder before the big day. His teacher still made him perform in the show, though, so he played ~air recorder~.
so my brother lost his recorder and the teacher still made him perform...
Poor Avik had to PRETEND TO PLAY the recorder for over an hour!
It brought back a lot of memories for folks.
And made some people pretty mad.
Though others applauded the teacher for holding Avik accountable.
Either way, said Aashna, "After that performance, Avik definitely doesn't wanna pursue music."
