Mix tater tots, egg, flour, basil, and salt until it's uniform.
Add more flour if too sticky, or a little water if too dry.
In a separate bowl, combine beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until thoroughly mixed.
Next, cut cheddar cheese into 1/2 inch cubes.
Wrap about 1 tbsp of beef around a cube of cheese. Then, wrap about 2 tbsp of the tot mixture around that.
And roll it into a cylindrical shape.
Now, toss those babies in hot oil and fry until they're golden brown.
