In spite of his paralysis, which is thought to be a result of nerve damage, Mac is doing really well.
"He’s starting to slowly regain some use of his legs," Dr. Horowitz said. "We took x-rays, and he’s on medication to hopefully help him. He’s eating well, he’s very playful, he’s affectionate."
Mac is currently being fostered by one of the hospital technicians, and will be available for adoption once he is strong and healthy enough.
