How Will You Meet Your Soulmate?
You'll do a favor for a friend and help drive your future soulmate to New York City. You'll become friends, even though you argue about sexual attraction always getting in the way of friendships. You'll stay friends for years — decades even — until you hook up and it gets temporarily weird. But then, on New Year's, you'll make up and realize you want to be together forever.
First you bump into each other while Christmas shopping. Then you exchange numbers (one written in a book, the other on a $5 dollar bill), deciding to leave everything up to fate. At first, it doesn't look too hopeful, but years later, you encounter the book and $5 bill, proving there is nothing keeping you apart.
You'll start messaging each other, somehow never realizing how physically close you actually are. You even end up meeting face to face as professional enemies, having to fight for a sweet location in the heart of the city for your businesses. However, you keep chatting online and eventually figure out each others' identities and that you're more alike than you ever imagined.
You'll live in entirely different cities and be in respective relationships, but then, through the efforts of a young kid and the help of a radio show, you'll find each other in the same place at the same time, proving that no distance is too great for you two.
It'll all start when you get lost on your way to an important social event. After asking for directions, you'll make a deal to be a fake couple for future social events, slowly falling for each other and making steps toward a real fairy tale ending.
Both ill-tempered and passionate, you'll start off disliking and even harshly teasing each other, but that's nothing a rendition of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and a particularly honest poem can't fix!
You'll date each other because you each have something to prove about the other person based entirely on stereotypes. One of you will do it for an article, the other to prove a bet at work. However, your feelings soon take over, giving you a beautiful outcome you never expected.
Your parent will hire them to work for them, meaning they'll be around all the time. At first it'll drive you nuts and you'll bicker quite a bit, but, as different as you are, you'll soon realize that you're actually kind of perfect together and will share a lovely kiss on a fantastic marble staircase.
You impulsively skip work and hop on a train, starting a conversation with a stranger. Only — plot twist! — you've actually dated. Two years ago. You used some fancy futuristic technology to erase your memories after a bad breakup, but you eventually decide to start over and try being together again, despite being polar opposites.
You'll know each other foreveeeeeer, but because you'll also go through puberty together (ugh, middle school), you'll have some rough patches and not stay close. Luckily, via pure magic, you'll be transported 17 years into the future and fix the mistakes you made, bringing you and your best friend together for good.
You'll casually meet in a café, only to come back the next day and realize your crush doesn't remember who you are. That's because they got into a car accident and have a rare type of amnesia where they think it's the same day every day. Still, you live every day to its fullest and work around this obstacle because that's what happens when you're in love.
Your ex will break up with you seemingly out of nowhere for a much hotter and wealthier celebrity. Ouch. To recover you go on vacation, only to find them both in the same hotel as you. Life couldn't get worse, right? Wrong! Because you befriend the hotel clerk and end up having a way better relationship with them than you ever did with your ex.
You'll meet at a club you don't normally go to and after a few shots and killer dance moves later, you'll end up drunkenly hooking up. Except — uh oh — you were so drunk that you forgot to wear a condom, and one of you got pregnant. You decide to keep the baby and give yourselves a chance at a real relationship. At first it's rocky, because you both still have to really grow as people, but once you do, you end up with a perfect, loving family.
You've met before, a long time ago. Now, at a get-together, you'll meet again and, quite frankly, not think too highly of each other. You'll think they're a snob and they'll think you're vulgar and clumsy. You'll both pursue different people while still remaining acquaintances, until, at an anniversary party, you confess your feelings via a very moving speech. The rest, as they say, is history.
You'll start chatting at a wedding, but not as guests — you both actually work (respectively) as a waiter and wedding band performer, and frequently cross paths. When you first meet, you're both in serious long-term relationships and don't realize you're with the wrong people. But, after some time, you grow to learn that you've both always been there for each other and deserve to be together.
While reporting on an investigative story about high school, you'll pretend to be a regular high school student. At first, everything will be miserable because you'll be reliving all that made your actual high school experience a nightmare, and you'll have a tough time fitting in. It won't be until you meet a certain attractive teacher that things will start to look up, and, because you're not actually a high school student, you can totally hook up and be together forever!
You'll work together, until one of your visas expires and, in order for the person whose visa expired to stay in the country, you get married. It's a crazy plan, and you bicker a lot along the way, but once you actually go through the motions of marriage, you'll start to open up and actually want to date for real.
You'll have both have had some rough moments, losing your significant others in different and painful ways. While at first hanging out won't seem to make you feel that much better, you decide to take up an activity and join a competition on a crazy bet. You'll do better than you ever expected and, along the way, will win the greatest prize of all — your love for each other.
Many years ago, you went on a date you were really excited for but that you royally messed up. Now, 13 years later, you've hired a private detective to track down your long-lost date because you can't move on. Along the way, everyone you know falls in love with them too, making getting their attention extra difficult. Eventually, your efforts pay off and you end up together.
After your significant other cheats on you and dumps you after spring break, you, out of bitterness, say that you could make anyone be just like your ex if you give them the right makeover. This transforms into a bet where you have to make the geekiest person you know into social royalty. Along the way, you fall for each other (even though you end up losing the bet.)
You'll be co-workers, but you won't realize you like them until a mysterious curse makes you relive Feb. 2 every day. You start every day maddeningly anew, but, with time, you grow and start to use your time wisely and slowly become a better person. You eventually get closer to your co-worker and fall for them, and your kiss not only breaks the curse, but also starts the rest of your lives together.
You'll meet and even date briefly in college, only to reunite years later when they're married and you're in love with a futuristic machine (literally). Somehow, though, you'll make it work.
After a painful divorce, luck will strike when a super-famous actor crosses paths with you multiple times. Much to your surprise, you grow closer, although you struggle with the downsides of dating a famous person and even end up rejecting your celeb boo. After a while though, you regret your decision and crash a press conference professing your eternal love.
Both introverted and quirky, you'll someday cross paths on the street and see that a beautiful stranger has forgotten something. Determined to see them again, you aim to return their forgotten treasure to them -- but only via a set of mysterious clues. As you do this, you fall more and more in love with them, and they with you, and after one sensual face-kiss later, you are Vespa-ing away into the sunset.
While vacationing at a resort with your family, you'll develop a crush on a sexy dance instructor. Because his usual partner is dealing with a pregnancy, you decide to take their place and train for an important performance, which brings you closer together. Though your family initially disapproves, the power of dance is too strong and you end up together in the end.
You'll be so mean to them, but they'll catch on and respond to every one of your demands with "as you wish." After you realize you love each other, they'll leave you in pursuit of a big fortune, which will make you think you've lost them forever and even lead you to consider marrying someone else. However, you'll eventually reunite and your story will be written about and read by grandpas everywhere.
You'll become star-crossed lovers on a cruise. For one reason or another though, it won't go well. Sorry!
While on a date with someone else, you'll meet the love of your life as they insist on going on a date with you. You reluctantly agree, only to fall in love at the speed of light. Because of your different social standings, your family disapproves and you get separated, only to meet again years later when you're engaged to someone else. Your feelings for each other remain completely intact and you end up spending every day together until old age.
