This 75-Year-Old Female Body Builder Can Probably Outrun You
Next time you feel like skipping the gym, remember that this bodybuilding grandmother from Baltimore runs 10 miles every morning.
Ernestine Shepherd didn't start regularly exercising and eating well until she was 56, when she went to a picnic with her sister and was embarrassed about the way she looked in a bathing suit. Now, at 75, "Miss Ernie" holds the Guinness World Record for being the oldest female competitive bodybuilder. She runs 10 miles every morning and leads workouts at her church. "This is my ministry, to motivate others," she says in an interview with BBC.
So... how's your summer fitness routine going, hm?
