Andy Williams died last night at his home in Branson, Missouri.
Williams might not be a household name these days, but his song "Moon River" is. He first sang it at the 1962 Academy Awards, where its writer Johnny Mercer and composer Henry Mancini were honored.
The song became Williams' theme — one that has been covered over and over again, long after Audrey Hepburn's turn in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
