"Seinfeld" Was A Way Bigger Show Than I Remember...

So Jerry Seinfeld joined Twitter this week to a bit of fanfare, but I couldn't help my response from being "so what?" But now I just don't think I remembered quite how huge he and his show were. While browsing reddit this morning, I was reminded. It turns out that as a tribute to the show, TV Land didn't program anything opposite the "Seinfeld" series finale. Instead they held on a shot of a door with two notes taped to it. "We're TV fans so..." and "we're watching the last episode of Seinfeld. Will return at 10 pm et, 7pm pt." Could you imagine this ever happening? It seems insane.
