The man now known as "Promo Guy" in reality is 21-year-old Josh Saunders, an Aussie dance teacher.

Saunders told Channel Nine's Today Show that he attended the taping to watch two of his students perform and was shocked by the popularity of his reaction, which he says was completely spontaneous.
