Tory Lanez Was Sentenced To 10 Years After He Was Convicted Of Shooting Megan Thee Stallion

    In December, he was found guilty of three charges related to a 2020 shooting of the rapper.

    On Tuesday, Tory Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence after he was found guilty in December of shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the feet in 2020, according to the New York Times and Los Angeles Times.

    Tory also appeared in court yesterday as part of his sentencing, where a statement from Megan was reportedly read. "He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma," Megan's statement read in part, according to the New York Times. The publication reported Megan was not in attendance at either sentencing hearing this week because she couldn't be in the same room as Tory.

    Journalist Meghann Cuniff, who has extensively covered the trial, tweeted that Tory spoke "for several minutes" on Tuesday. "I said some very immature things that I shouldn't have said. I revealed some secrets I shouldn't have revealed," Meghann reported Tory said in part.
