These ladies have never had short hair before, so we decided to wig 'em up with short hair for a week and see how people reacted.
Nina was pumped to give short hair a go! She was thinking it would be low maintenance.
And Candace said that if she "could pull it off, [she] would love it."
Whereas, Caitlin was worried it would make her look "really young."
Once the wigs were on, they were wowed...
Their coworkers had a slightly different reaction.
Apparently all women with short hair have offspring.
And like any true parent, Nina's mom was not shy about her opinion.
As the week wore on, the ladies realized having short hair didn't mean it was more manageable. Caitlin learned that bangs are stressful.
Candace was over looking like a '60's male pop icon.
And Nina laughed off the insults like a champion.
By the end of the week, emotions were running WILD.
And Caitlin was dealing with a real inner struggle.
In the end, the change in their hairstyle really played with their personal identity and how people perceived them.
Nina said she thought she'd feel masculine but she felt equally "feminine and womanly."
And Caitlin pointed out that people seemed to be reacting negatively to the fact that she looked older and like a mother.
Regardless of their hair length, these ladies are still FABULOUS!
