How to get away with not knowing these facts.
Annalise has her ups and downs with booze throughout the show. One brand of vodka that she mainly clings to is called Kashchey. You may not know that it is not even an authentic brand of vodka, and the showrunners created this vodka specifically for HTGAWM.
Annalise may love her vodka, but her ice cream is another vice she can't do without. In Season 6, she admits it, and as viewers, we got to see whether it was to cope brainstorm or cover-up; Annalise loved her ice cream!
Editing your appearance for a role is not uncommon in Hollywood, but sometimes the change is so believable that viewers think it is the real you. Katie Findlay plays Rebecca Stutter, and her character has some noticeable face piercings that have led to fans speculating whether they are real or not. The answer is no. The piercings in Rebecca Sutter's ears, nose, and under her lip are all fake. Katie Findlay does not have one actual piercing in real life.
We bet you didn't know this, but before Charlie Weber was the heartthrob Frank Delfino on How to Get Away With Murder, he played a bad guy on the hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Weber's character is interesting because he shares his body with the female goddess Glory.
Did you know that Alfred Enoch played Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter movies before Wes Gibbins in How to Get Away With Murder? Believe it or not, Alfred Enoch is British and has the accent to prove it. That's right, the actor that plays Wes Gibbons has a British accent. He's just so good at acting you didn't notice!
Not only is Enoch able to pull off an American accent incredibly well as Wes Gibbins, but he also plays his son and does a great job as Christophe Castillo. Christophe (Enoch) can speak to his mother in Spanish and address the class in the season finale in a hefty Spanish accent because he is also fluent in Spanish. Enoch knows both Portuguese and Spanish.
Does anyone else notice that we never really see the inside of Rebecca's apartment? Seriously, anytime she's with Wes, she's at his apartment, and anytime we see her at her place, we can barely see inside. Was this the director's way of keeping Rebecca's character mysterious and keeping the audience suspicious of her activity? What was she hiding? Or what did the producer want us to think she was hiding?
If you wondered why some of the sex scenes slowed down a bit for Annalise, there is an actual reason for this. During one of her raunchy scenes with Nate Lahey (Billy Brown), Viola Davis sustained a back injury when thrown up against the wall during their lovemaking. Despite this injury, she was able to finish the scene. Afterward, Davis has stated that she had blown her back out recommending directors put a time out on those types of psychical scenarios for Annalise's character for a little while.
Arguably one of the series' best, most important, and shocking reveals, the moment everyone found out Wes killed Sam shocked everyone, including Wes Gibbins himself, Alfred Enoch. Later it was revealed that Enoch didn't know this reveal was coming until it was time for the table read for that episode.
We are never really told why Asher was killed. We know the FBI, the Castillos, and the governor were all behind the killing. But why did they decide to kill Asher when he was working with them and feeding them information on Annalise? The FBI agent that did the deed is seen handcuffed inside an interrogation room and then never heard from again with no extensive detailed explanation as to why they killed Asher.
