ThePirateBay.org May Be On Life Support

For years now, the EU has been giving ThePirateBay.org some grief. They are finally in court and it looks like their days might be numbered. About a year ago, using thepiratebay, I downloaded Curious George for my son and promptly got a nasty letter from the production company threatening all sorts of nastiness. The letter actually came via my ISP (Comcast) who refused to give up my identity. (Thanks Comcast!) They also mentioned that they would not be able to help me the next time. (Paraphrasing) Anyhow, I suggest using the Usenet. There is nearly as much available, and it is a straight download which makes IP tracking much more difficult.
