Why You Won't Be Marrying Your Soulmate

These are the top reasons why you would not be marrying your soulmate. So don't sweat it when you get divorced, they may not be your soulmate anyway.

1. You may not both be romantically inclined with each other.

It does not necessarily mean that you and your soulmate will share a passionate relationship and the two of you have to have sex. For most cases, soulmates, share what we call a companionate type of love. In which case, the both of you feel intimacy (which causes your closeness, bond, and attachment with each other) and commitment. This is one of the factors, why your relationship is consistent (companionate type of love). Romantic love on the other hand is the type of love in which you feel passion(which incorporate the physical attachment or bond and the sexual feelings you have for each other) and intimacy. The sexual feelings and physical attachment, is what makes it hard to sustain. For the obvious reason that, looks and sexual drive fade, ALWAYS. Usually your soulmate can be your friend, one of your parents, a brother, a sister, a cousin, a family member, or even an enemy. If ever you may be soulmates with one of these people, you know that you are not capable of having a romantic relationship with them.

2. You do not see the reason for a lifelong commitment to be official.

You just don't get why you have to commit to each other on paper, just for the sake of making it official. You both know, that what you have, cannot be ruined by anyone (even a third party) or anything, that is how confident you are, that, what you feel for each other will always be consistent, and that you don't need a paper just to remind you that you need to be consistent with what you feel, it's because you know it will never change, and nothing will affect it.

3. You haven't met your soulmate yet.

No one on earth have met each and every human being living in this planet. That is why we may not have met yet our soulmate. The assurance of you, having met your soulmate will solely base on what you feel. If you feel the security that this one person will always be a part of you, a part of your soul, and the both of you will have that perfect relationship together (yes a perfect relationship do exist! I attest to that! It's all about perspective!), wherein understanding is always present and the both of you are consistent with what you feel, no matter what the struggle is, then you found your soulmate already!

4. You would not be building a family together

You do not feel the need to. My soulmate and I are not making a family together. One, because we are not sexually compatible. Two, we don't feel the need to validate our love, by building a basic unit of society together to show for it. The last reason is, we would not be marrying each other. As I said earlier, marriage is for those who share a romantic kind of love, and basing on my statement "that we are not sexually compatible" you would have guess, that what we have is companionate love. We just don't have the hypocrisy to marry each other knowing that we would be cheating on each other, because our basic human instinct to satisfy our sexual needs will prevail. We could just go on with our lives still loving and caring for each other and marry different people, that would share with us romantic love, that way, we won't be cheating with our partners because what I and my soulmate have, is a different kind of love. Aside from that, due to the obvious fact that there is no romantic or sexual tension, between me and my soulmate our then marriage would not be affected.

OR TO MAKE IT SHORT, YOU CAN'T BARE TO HAVE SEX WITH' EM, COZ WHAT YOU HAVE IS COMPANIONATE LOVE (which is very usual amongst soulmates)!

5. You don't feel it's necessary. The fact that you are soulmates, makes you secured.

You are secured with what you feel. You do not feel jealous, unloved, or anything negative at all. You know that no matter what the struggle is, the feelings that you have for each other is consistent. You just see marriage as a commitment people make to each other, commitment is an act where in you commit to each other in a certain point of time.You acknowledge that what you have is not determined by time. You clearly know that your attachment with each other has no beginning, nor end, and that what you have is not a commitment, it is not a choice either, it is just what it is. Destiny maybe?

6. You have not yet recognise your soulmate. Therefore you don't know who your soulmate is.

Many go on living, not recognising their soulmates. We live in a society that the word "soulmate" correlates to your significant other. We recognise, only the things that we know. A soulmate can also be a friend, a parent, a brother, a sister, a cousin, a family member, or even an enemy. But since society pushes the concept of "soulmate" being your significant other, your enemy being your soulmate may sound surreal, or your BFF being your soulmate may seem weird. You may be one those people who go on with their lives, not realising who their soulmate is.

7. YOU DO NOT LIKE TO HAVE SEX WITH YOUR SOULMATE
