Lisa Silva, 42-year-old woman from Carteret, New Jersey, has been accused of traveling from New Jersey to Florida to have sex with a 16-year-old boy she met via Facebook game called YoVille.
Silva, who was arrested last monts faces charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual conduct.
Silva met the teen boy while playing the game YoVille through her Facebook account about a year ago.
According to police, the online meeting led to numerous phone calls, text messages and emails. After sending messages and emails to each other they met in person on three occasions – and allegedly ended up having sex on two of those meetings. An arrest report said the sexual encounters took place in December of 2011 and February of 2012 when Lisa Silva travelled more than 800 miles from her home to Gainesville, Florida to have sex with teen boy who 26 younger.
Police began their investigation after boy's parents contacted them about the alleged illegal sexual encounters between adult woman and their son.
Authorities arrested Silva in Carteret, New Jersey on February 18 during a traffic stop.
