Ten Reasons Why I Will Be The Best Intern

These are the top ten reasons why Translation should hire me as a summer intern for 2014. #InternAtTranslation

10. I am adventurous.

This is the first time I fired a gun, and it turns out I have pretty good aim. I am not afraid to take risks.

9. I can problem solve.

This is the marshmallow bridge that I designed for my architecture orientation challenge at Arizona State University. My bridge won because it was the longest bridge, and it could hold the most weight.

8. I am a traveler.

Who does not love to travel? It is one of the best ways for a person to discover their independence.

7. I am creative.

I interned with a pastry chef, and my last project was this cake. The inside is tie dye.

6. I have a sense of humor.

How can you not laugh at this?

5. I am a leader.

These are my campers at the Albert & Ann Deshur JCC Rainbow Day Camp.

4. I am a team player.

My junior year in high school I got to play in the state tournament for our varsity golf team. Go Highlanders!

3. I have perseverance.

This may not be a pretty picture, but I just ran 13.1 miles during the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon.

2. I am patient.

I drew the image above by hand using different pencils and architectural drafting tools to create each line weight. Then, I had to build a cardboard model of the draft.

1. I have perspective.

Some of the best solutions come from thinking outside the box. I have learned to look at problems from multiple perspectives in order to find the best solution.
