You fill it with 1.5 cups of water, put your eggs in the egg holders, close the top, microwave for 10 minutes for hard boiled eggs or five minutes for soft (and somewhere in between for medium, which... I think you could have gotten there on your own), and VOILÀ! Eggs for days.
