7 Reasons We All Made Our Profile Pics Rainbows

We had really good reasons to jump on this bandwagon. Not like that high-low skirt bandwagon we jumped on (we all make mistakes!)

1. Pure Excitement

For the first time in a long time, America made the LGBT (and straight!) community proud and we couldn't resist showing our excitement.

2. The cool guy from your college psych class did it.

If it's good enough for Jeremy from Psych 101, it's good enough for you.

3. You wanted to piss off your hardcore right-wing friends.

They've been posting pics of the Confederate flag and now it's your turn to celebrate. Plus rainbows are so much prettier than the race-hating, discriminating, segregating 'stars and bars.'

4. Seriously, though, why do people still support the Confederate Flag??

Enough said.

5. You didn't want to be left out.

All your other friends looked so happy with their new exciting rainbow tinted pics and you're still getting over your FOMO that started when you forgot to write #blacklivesmatter on your Ferguson post.

6. You hoped maybe Ruby Rose would see your pic and 'like' it.

You've never doubted your sexuality until Ruby Rose appeared on OITNB. Now, you're not so sure...

7. GAY MARRIAGE IS LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES!

Really, who cares if you're jumping on a profile pic bandwagon. This time, it's worth it.
