Sometimes I'll put it on and take a nap and when I wake up the headache is completely gone. I have also used it while working/watching TV and in that case I just don't pull it down all the way so it won't cover my eyes. Honestly I would use this even if I didn't have a headache because it just feels so soothing to have the cool compression on your head. Highly recommend if you are a frequent headache sufferer.
