Promising review: "I love WD-40 products and use them for everything. I spray on shovels to keep dirt or snow from sticking, spray around windows and thresholds to deter bugs, clean Sharpies off wood and walls, and, of course, stop squeaky doors. These small direct-point application pens are great. Keep one in the glove box, my kitchen 'junk' drawer, and the house toolbox." —BBP623

Promising review: "Like you, when I first came across this, I was hesitant because of the price. It's a bit steep, I thought to myself. But then, after another night of bathtime with two towels on the ground to soak up the water my child had splashed all over, I took the plunge and bought it. And definitely worth it a million times over. My child LOVES the extra space for toys and I love the water staying in the tub. I definitely and highly suggest buying it. You won't be disappointed! Or your child!!" —Brianna

    7. Strong magnetic strips so you can make use of the vertical space in your fridge when the shelves are stuffed to the brim. Just peel the back, stick 'em to the top of the fridge, and you have a wickedly convenient place to store your bottles!

reviewer's beers hanging from magnetic strip in fridge

Promising review: "Of all the things I have bought that I didn't need, this is one of my favorites. Beer is hard to get out of the cardboard carrier in the top of my fridge. While just taking them out and sitting them on the shelf would have solved this problem as well, this solution is more fun. They float and technically it does make a tiny bit of extra space under the beer for small things like cheese or something." —AbbyValentine

    8. A nine-piece airtight container set wayyy niftier than any containers you've ever had before. Most of 'em are hiding a secret superpower: there's a hidden magnetic leveler for flour, a terra cotta disc to keep your brown sugar fresh, a magnetic dusting spoon, a mini dusting screen, and one of the mid-size ones has a spout for easy pouring.

This nine-piece set includes five different-size containers with airtight lids. Grab some labels like the one in the picture here.

Promising review: "Sizes are all great for flour, sugar, powdered sugar, brown sugar, and sprinkles. Came with pre-made labels for the containers making marking them so much easier. The labels are generic with several that are blank for you to write on. Really pleased with the quality and how well they seal." —Ashley Ellis

Get it from Amazon for $69.99 (available in two other set sizes).

    9. Some cushion supports to refresh your squished-down seat so you can revitalize it instead of dreaming of the day you can get a whole new couch.

reviewer's sagging sofa without the cushion support
reviewer's same sofa with the cushion support

All you have to do to install is remove the cushions, unfold the support over the couch, put the cushions back on, and voila a refreshed sofa!

Promising review: "I purchased new couches about five years ago. They were comfortable for a couple of years, but over time, they started sagging to the point that I would sink when sitting on them. They were very uncomfortable and the cushions would not stay in place. We thought about purchasing new couches, but that was an expense I could not justify, especially since these couches are not old and are in otherwise decent condition. I decided to try this cushion support in hopes of stretching the life of the furniture. I have two identical couches, but purchased only one support to try it out before buying another. I am very happy to report that my couch is comfortable again! I no longer sink in or have to fight my way out! My couch feels almost like new. I cannot wait for my second support to arrive!" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $25.49+ (available in five sizes).

    10. And a bag of polyester stuffing so you can give the back cushions the extra TLC they deserve. Not only are they not attractive when they're all smushed down, but man are they uncomfortable. And with any leftover stuffing, you can rejuvenate stuffed animals, throw pillows, bedding, and more. After all, there's no such thing as too much fluff!

Promising review: "Ok, so I had been looking into buying a new couch but I only wanted a nice leather one and they are SOOO EXPENSIVE. I decided to try and fix ours and I am SOO HAPPY with the results!! I bought two $52 boxes of poly fill (used 1 1/4 total, so I still have a lot left). I cut open each of the three sections of the inner cushions of each back cushion, re-stuffed them, and sewed them back up. It took me about a day and half. I want to get some furniture foam to plump up the seat cushions (but that is another project and significantly more money), but the end result is a HUGE improvement! The couch looks (and feels) a million times better! Wish I done this years ago! The first 'before' pic has a back cushion already stuffed because I didn’t think to take a pic until after I already stuffed a cushion. If you are thinking this won’t work (like I was), you are wrong. DO IT!!!!" —Geoff

I have a GFCI with a standard wall plate." —Amazon Customer

    15. A shower curtain liner with pockets to give your loofah and bottle of soap their own special home so they can stop getting kicked around on the floor of your shower.

FYI the curtain has nine mesh pockets in three different sizes, which are able to drain water and hold items up to one pound each, so just don't go throwing a mega-size conditioner in there.

Promising review: "This is the perfect solution for my tub/shower situation. We have no shelving, and shower head racks tend to get rusty/caked with soap and have even fallen off. We've had this in the shower for three months now and it's great. It holds all our bottles, razors, and bars of soap." —Rachel B

Get it from Amazon for $16.98+ (available in two colors).

Plus, since the actual plug is flush against the wall, you can stick it behind furniture without worrying about ruining your cords.

Promising review: "I saw this while randomly swiping through TikTok one day. As soon as I saw it, I immediately went to Amazon to find it. We have an electric fireplace that is centered on our wall. Unfortunately, the plug/outlet is not (about one foot over). It has driven my wife and I bananas that there was a plug strung along the wall. This took seconds to install. Love it!" —Alex Soper

Get it from Amazon for $23.95+ (available in 10 different configurations).

    17. A heat- and cold-resistant multipurpose moldable glue that'll become your BFF for fixing basically anything and everything. You have about 30 minutes to get it set up perfectly before it starts to harden (give it 12–48 hours to completely harden). PS: you should keep your extra packets in the fridge so they stay fresh longer.

Promising review: "First off I just wanted to say I love this product, and it is so flexible with all the different things that you could make and do with it. I personally used some on my keys to my house, to make them bigger and easier for me to grip with my carpal tunnel. Honestly, I think this product is a fabulous way to increase accessibility for all sorts of different things in everyday life. For example, I was thinking about using some to make a more comfortable grip for one of my pens for when I take notes." —JJanss

This is ideal for indoor use on wood, metal, ceramic, wicker, and more. It'll be dry to touch in 30–60 minutes and each can covers 12 sq. ft.

Promising review: "This summer I grew bored with my same old blah plastic pots from Lowes/Home Depot and others that had faded over the years but were still in good condition. You first need to wash and dry them well and take a piece of sandpaper/sanding block to very lightly scratch and give the surface some 'tooth.' I don't normally use a primer but I have pre-painted some pots with a similar or coordinating color as the stone paint I will be using. The coverage of this paint is excellent but you can paint it as many times as you like depending on the coverage and look you want. I've also used several colors on one pot and wound up with some attractive-looking planters! I painted a few with a clear sealer made just for this stone paint and others with a regular clear sealer (they are probably all the same.) I've found that they all stood up to the outdoor weather and sun well, even a small stone garden rabbit I didn't seal although it says it is not waterproof. Now I keep looking around for other items to stone paint. It's fun and leaves you with professional, expensive-looking pots or any item." —Mistella

Get it from Amazon for $10.53+ (available in six colors and four pack sizes).

    20. Some Goo Gone that'll help remove those seemingly impossible sticky messes — tape residue, gum, glue, and those freaking price stickers that are basically super glued to the product. Just apply some of this magical potion, let it sit for 5–10 minutes for extra tough messes, wipe away with hot soapy water, and POOF — the smooth, stick-free surface of your dreams.

A reviewer's stainless fridge before: marred by by lots of duct tape residue
after: the same fridge, clean, with no residue in sight

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown gives this her stamp of approval: "This is another product I bought for my move a couple of years ago: My boyfriend had hung up these posters that used big foam adhesive squares (no, they were not Command strips), and when we pulled them off the wall, they left a bunch of foam and sticky stuff behind. Goo Gone (plus a plastic scraper) came to the rescue! It took a little patience, but the stuff would never have come off without the Goo Gone. It helped break down both the foam stuff and the adhesive, which came off in little bits, leaving nothing behind. We did then wash off the paint with some dish soap and water — Goo Gone is super greasy — but by the end, you couldn't tell anything had been there at all, and the paint was undamaged."

Promising review: "I have some 3-year-old sticker glue on a stainless steel kitchen appliance. Put a squirt of this stuff on a paper towel, and 20 seconds later, sticker glue all gone! Not really sure if I can give higher praises here." —Berkford

Promising review: "Who knew that the solution to all of my soap bars getting mushy and gross was this small magnet? Promising review: "Although it seemed to take forever to ship and arrive, it is absolutely worth the wait. It is so soft, fits so perfectly on my couch, doesn’t move when I sit on it or when the dog jumps up, and looks nice too! I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and I hope it helps my couch to last a long time. I will update after a while to be sure it holds up. PSA: Read the measurement description before you order. After one month, zero regrets! It has been worth every penny. The couch cover is a fraction of the cost of my couch, so I think it’s been very worth it to help keep the fabric on my couch intact. I washed on delicate and tumble-dried it on low by itself. Held up great. Again, I love it! Worth the wait and the cost." —sgur

Promising reviews: "This is a great TikTok buy! It's a really fun and easy way to clean the lint off of anything. The cleaning is also very simple. It might slow down sometimes when I do a big piece of cloth, which means that the spinning blade has lint tangled around it. You can remove that with tweezers. It’s really easy and satisfying. All in all, it's a great buy." —Edita

"This is amazing!!! I have a chair that when my cats were kittens, they shredded. It was brand new, and they destroyed it within six months. I live alone and no one ever comes over, so I just deal with the chair with dreams of reupholstering it someday. I've seen articles for defuzzers but never used one and always thought they were for sweaters or things that have just balled up, not that had entire threads ripped out. A few days ago I saw someone's review for this one, used on loose threads, so I immediately bought it. It arrived today, and I used scissors to trim the threads. It was so easy to use and did an amazing job! I spent probably 90 minutes total doing my entire oversized chair and then spot-cleaned it. It looks brand new! I have my awesome chair back! I almost donated this chair a hundred times over the last four years but didn't want to part with it. Now I'm so glad I didn't. $12 and less than two hours of my time, and my favorite chair is restored. I'm so happy!!" —StormyMorning

Promising review: "I have a brick patio. When I bought this house it was covered, and I mean covered with moss. A good power wash each spring was never enough to stop the moss from returning, and month after month during the summers was a struggle, man vs. plant. I did that for two years, cursing and complaining the whole time. This April I did my spring power wash as usual and immediately treated this patio. It is now going into August and I have not had even a wisp of moss this year — I mean nothing! I would recommend this product without any reservations. When you put it on you may think to yourself that it doesn't look like you really did much. It dries quick and looks the same as it did before, but wow does it do exactly what it says it will do." —PM in NH

Promising review: "I was mentioning at work one day that I had moved into a new place and had already had to use Drano in my shower. I said I was going to buy the best product I could find to catch hair before it went down the drain to clog it. One of my coworkers asked me if I meant a TubShroom and I replied that I had never heard of one. I looked it up on Amazon, purchased it, and have never looked back. I recommend them to everyone! I have not had to use Drano in my house since I purchased it! Super easy to clean! Once or twice a week when the water in my tub starts to stand during my shower, I’ll pull it out, clean it with a paper towel, and it’s good as new!" —Erin

Promising review: "I never write reviews but I had to with this product and I'm going to be very honest. I did so much homework on this product and I'm so glad I did because it was everything I wanted. The fan isn't loud at all, I forgot there was even a fan that's how good it was. It was very quiet. I will say invest in a speaker and use it for your sound, it's much better. Also, the clarity of the picture was great!!! Very crisp and clear.
