They call it "War photography". Those brave souls who play Grand Theft Auto 5 with a camera in hand instead of a sawed-off shotgun. Christopher Murrie and his Media Lens crew risk their avatars lives to take photographs of dangerous moments in-game. Benoit Paille takes GTA5 photography one step further.
Benoit Paillé is a photographer in Canada who is pushing the boundaries of reality with his photographs taken of GTA5. The game has some stunning visuals and Benoit photographs his television as he plays and then superimposes photograph he has taken of models pretending to take photographs. So to sum it up: Real photographs of fake scenes of real arms taking photographs of fake environments. So Meta.
