Here Are 20 Weird Things All Brits Do

Okay, but cheering when someone drops something has to be the most British thing ever.

Us Brits are fantastic, but we do have a few *ahem* little quirks shall we say, that make us, well, rather amazing actually.

    1. Giving everything and anything a nickname.

    2. Saying "thank you" more than once for a single favour.

    3. Using random phrases like "barking up the wrong tree," "hold your horses," and "a few sandwiches short of a picnic."

    4. Putting random food items together and somehow they end up working really well. Full English anyone?

    5. Saying "but that's none of my business" after making something your business for the past half an hour.

    6. Arguing about whether jam or cream goes on first on a scone.

    7. Packing ten pairs of pants for a two day trip "just in case."

    8. Saying "no worries" when you're actually seething inside.

    9. Calling dishes names like "toad in the hole," "spotted dick," and "bubble and squeak."

    10. Gravy on chips...enough said.

    11. Calling someone "mate" that you've never even met before, let alone had a friendship with.

    12. Being able to rap the entire Smithy and Rudi rap from Gavin and Stacey.

    13. Telling people "we must meet up soon" when you absolutely have no intention of doing so.

    14. Not being able to take a compliment despite it probably being very true.

    15. Saying "you alright?" and the response being "you alright?" too and it still makes perfect sense.

    16. Quoting Gemma Collins at random times.

    17. Cheering when someone breaks a glass or drops something.

    18. Getting to the airport 12 hours early. Is it the anxiety of missing the flight or is it just for a trip to 'spoons though?

    19. Saying "what a sad little life Jane" whenever someone annoys you.

The girls that get it, get it.

    20. Pretending you haven't seen someone you actually know and like because you don't have the social battery to talk to them.
