Wrecking Ball was and is still dominating the charts. Miley's first Billboard number one features raw and emotional vocals as well as a powerful video.

2. She Still Made Us Laugh

Miley may not be on a sitcom anymore, but that doesn't mean that this lady lost her ability to make us laugh. Extra respect for her stint on SNL where among other things she made fun of HERSELF.

3. The Girl Knows How to Adapt Her Style

Not every outfit she wears is for everyone, but they are definitely all Miley. 21 is the perfect age for a style evolution and that's just what she's doing. And whether you appreciated or hated her latex looks it's clear that she knew how to adapt her personal style to where ever she was, and that takes serious skill.

4. She Loves Her Family

No matter how busy it is Miley always seems to make Team Cyrus a number one priority. Her mom is always by her side, her social media is flooded with sibling love, and her forearm now has a picture of her Mammie. They may not be a typical family, but there's a lot of love surrounding this clan.

5. She Understands How to Handle Her Past Relationship

This year Miley endured a public breakup. Those can be difficult for anyone, yet she handled it like a pro. She obviously respects what the relationship meant to her at the time she was invested in it. And now she chooses to speak her truth and love for the single life without shaming someone who once meant a lot to her. This includes numerous interviews with the like of Ellen and Barbara Walters.

The pop star fights for every cause she believes in. She donates her time, money, and name to causes. Some of which include gay rights, appropriate censorship, and animal rights.
