    Colorado Man Has Massive Heart Attack And Is Saved By Former Pupils (Video)

    Bob Marlin spent much of his career teaching CPR. Recently the Littleton, Colorado, man was glad. Some of his former students responded to a 911 call at Meadows Golf Club to save — wait for it - Bob Marlin.

    Bob Marlin spent much of his career teaching CPR. Recently the Littleton, Colorado, man was glad. Some of his former students responded to a 911 call at Meadows Golf Club to save — wait for it - Bob Marlin.

    Marlin was playing golf with his brother when he suffered a massive heart attack. His brother, Bill, started CPR and called for help.

    Tom Woodard, the golf pro at Meadows Golf Club heard the shout and ran to the tee box with the AED, automated external defibrillator, as the starter called 911.

    Four Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responding and shocked Bob four times before he was transported by paramedics to the hospital.

    Marlin, a former employee of West Metro Fire Rescue, had trained paramedics on how to respond to precisely these types of incidents. He had also trained the golf course staff who then saved his life.

    Marlin is feeling better, but he is upset that the last shot he took before his heart attack was short.

    "I was a little disappointed, but it shouldn't have killed me," Marlin joked about the shot.
