Serena Williams And Alexis Ohanian Have Welcomed Their Second Daughter, Adira River Ohanian

    Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, have welcomed their second baby — a girl named Adira River Ohanian.

    The couple shared the exciting news via TikTok, where Serena posted a sweet video introducing Adira alongside their elder daughter Olympia, 6, with the caption, "Welcome my beautiful angel."

    "I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama," Alexis shared on Instagram.

    "@serenawilliams you've now given me another incomparable gift — you're the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter."

    Last year, Serena officially retired from tennis and penned an essay for Vogue explaining that she was "evolving" away from tennis to focus on her family. "Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair," she wrote at the time.

    "I have to focus on being a mom, my spiritual goals and finally discovering a different, but just [as] exciting Serena," she added in an Instagram caption about the news. 

    And then, less than a year after her retirement, Serena first revealed her second pregnancy at the 2023 Met Gala in May.
