Here's What You Need To Remember About "Rocko's Modern Life" Before The Reboot

It's been 23 years since the show ended.

In case you've been living under a rock/stranded in deep space, there's new Rocko's Modern Life out!

It's a special called Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling and it's on Netflix now! Set in the present day, the special reveals that Rocko and his friends have been in space for the last 25 years, and when they return to their home they discover a very different life to the one they left behind in the '90s.

It's been a long time since the show finished, so here's a quick refresher on where Rocko left off, in case you've forgotten the important details...

Rocko is an Australian wallaby who lives in the fictional American town of O-Town with his dog Spunky.

He's a simple guy who just wants a quiet life (with the exception of occasional recreational jackhammering), but he doesn't often get what he wants.

Rocko's best friend is Heffer, a bull who loves eating and having fun.

Rocko is also good friends with Filburt, an extremely neurotic turtle.

Rocko's next door neighbours are Ed and Bev Bighead, two cane toads.

Mr. Bighead is a miserable man with an extreme hatred of Rocko. He works at Conglom-O, the corporation that owns everything in town. Mrs Bighead likes Rocko a lot more – in fact she is downright thirsty for him.

The Bigheads have an estranged child who created a show based on their lives called The Fatheads.

It's Rocko's favourite show.

Rocko works at Kind of a Lot o' Comics, a comic book store owned by the nasty toad Mr Smitty.

Rocko and his friends' fave hangout is Chokey Chicken.
