This "Game Of Thrones" Writer Just Addressed An Important Missing Character

Where is Ghost?! Warning: contains spoilers for Season 7, Episode 2.

OK so this week's Game of Thrones gave us many blessings: most notably Arya and Nymeria reuniting!

It was an amazing scene, but it also served as a stark (heh) reminder that we haven't seen the other surviving direwolf, Ghost, since the beginning of Season 6.

Which left many fans with one question: WHERE THE FUCK IS GHOST?!?!

*slams fist on table* where is ghost they haven't even mentioned him since early last season

So....nymeria on her own now, ok....but where is Ghost?! 🐺🐺 are we saving him up for something? #GameofThrones7

Also... one more thing that has me wondering...where the hell is #Ghost ?! #gameofthrones

Especially since we saw Jon leaving Winterfell this episode, but not before saying a farewell to his dead family in the crypts (and choking Littlefinger), and waving goodbye to Sansa.

BUT WHAT ABOUT GHOST?! WOULDN'T HE TAKE HIM WITH HIM?! OR AT LEAST SAY GOODBYE!?!?!?!

Well, Game of Thrones producer/writer Bryan Cogman – who wrote this episode – revealed on Twitter that there WAS a scene between Ghost and Jon, but it didn't make the final episode.

FYI... We shot a Jon/Ghost scene. Didn't make it in. I tried! Thx for watching, everybody. #Stormborn

    SOB.

Honestly, I don't know if this information makes me feel better or worse. Like, at least Ghost was written into the show... but I just want an explanation on screen for why he's not around. And, even better, actual interaction between him and Jon. Ghost is IMPORTANT, OK?!

On the plus side... an absent direwolf is a living direwolf.
