Who could blame you for wanting to stay up when the vibes are this good 🤷‍♀️

    1. Some fairy string lights, because there's just something magical about what these do to a room at night. Hang them behind your bed, in front of a window, or string them up along the ceiling to create the coziest ambience while you curl up to read or watch a movie.

These look even prettier layered behind sheer curtains! Many reviewers say the cord is short, so you may want to pick up an extension cord if you don't already have one.

Promising review: "I love these lights! The settings are so much fun and add excitement to a room when you have guests. The light is so warm and makes it feel so cozy inside! I love to turn off all of the other lights in my apartment and just have these lights going when I am watching a movie. It creates a great warm glow but isn't too bright to wash out the movie. They are also a fun background for pictures!" —J_Thill

Get the string lights in warm white from Amazon for $17.74 (available in 10 colors).

    2. mini projector to turn your bedroom (or living room) into a cozy cave for watching movies and TV or playing video games, just by taking advantage of a plain white wall. It means you don't have to have a bulky TV, and it can connect to phones and laptops, streaming devices like Fire TV Stick and Roku, gaming consoles, and more!

Promising review: "Omg I love this so much. It’s compact and the internal audio and picture are both great quality. I decided to project directly onto my wall and it’s saving me so much space in my bedroom not having a TV on a stand and I didn’t want to hang one on the wall and fix those holes again. I plugged a Fire Stick directly into the projector and use my cable app to watch TV along with the streaming apps. I just love this." —Amazon Customer

    3. A galaxy light designed to project the starry night sky onto your ceilings and walls, evoking the feeling that you've been transported to another world. It's perfect anytime you want some relaxing vibes and would also create a cool atmosphere for parties.

Promising review: "We use it to sleep with at night, as a background light for our dance videos, or simply on dark, cloudy days. It brilliantly illuminates the room, and the colors are vibrant and playful. I appreciate the variety of options it offers, including numerous patterns and glow lights. It's truly fantastic!" —Sharanpreet

It features seven different colors for customizable mood lighting, three levels of brightness, and five water flow speeds. You can hear how the trickling water sounds in this reviewer video, and see it in action on TikTok.

Note: According to Johns Hopkins, you may want to avoid diffusing oils around larger groups and young children because of the side effects of different oils.

Promising review: "I love this thing. I have anxiety and insomnia, and I need background noise to function/sleep. This little desktop fountain is SO SOOTHING, both aesthetically and the sound of the little raindrops. If I’m in the room with it, it’s probably on. If you love the sound of rain this is for you. Because I’m paranoid and I want this to last, I run it with plain distilled water and I have not used essential oils with it even though they say it’s fine. It’s very dry here right now, and I still only have to top up the water every few days even with it running daily. It’s a solid 12/10 from me." —Violet

Get it from Amazon for $39.90.

    5. And a "flaming" humidifier that's not actually on fire (so you won't accidentally wake up your whole building with smoke alarms), but it'll *look* like a tabletop fireplace with its mixture of steam and light. Promising review: "I like how this diffuser kind of looks like a mini fireplace and it’s perfect for winter. I also like how long the water of this diffuser lasts — I always add my favorite essential oil in it when I go to sleep every night without worrying it will run out of water. I used to have insomnia and it helped me to sleep through the night with my relaxing essential oil scent, and it also worked as a humidifier." —Benny

Get it from Amazon for $29.99 (available in two colors).

    6. A sunset lamp if you cherish the peaceful silence of night but enjoy the warm glow of a sunset — now you can have both at once. This TikTok-popular lamp drenches your room in rosy warm light, perfect for selfies and ~ambience~.

See one in action in this TikTok!

Promising review: "This lamp really exceeded my expectations. I bought it on a whim and honestly wasn't expecting that much, but I'm really happy with it. Feels like it's made of durable, quality material and emits a strong light, but it's not too bright — I use it in the evenings when I'm trying to wind down before bed and it's bright enough to light up my room without feeling like it's going to mess up my sleep cycle. Highly recommend — really does feel like you're watching a lovely sunset :)" —amazon customer

Get it from Amazon for $13.99.

    7. A pair of hotel-quality pillows not only for sleeping, but for propping yourself up on while reading or watching Netflix late into the night. These cloud-like pillows are filled with plush gel fiber that provides just the right amount of support. (Oh, and did I mention they have over 160,000 5-star ratings??)

Promising review: "These had great reviews but I was still a bit skeptical. I'm a bit of a pillow snob. These pillows — these amazing, heavenly pillows — are now my favorite part of going to bed. Soft but firm. How does that work? It gives support for me to sleep slightly propped up but I sink into this comfortable personal cloud. Soft but firm. My head isn't sinking through the pillow to rest on my mattress, but I feel comfortably enveloped. Now, mind you, I have one very cheap Walmart pillow behind it, so I'm not against my headboard, but even still. Heaven. I bought two but think that would be too much fluff, so now my husband and I each have one. Buy them. Add to cart. Buy now with one click. Stop the research. You've found the pillows you were looking for." —Marissa Urey

Get them from Amazon for $59.99+ (available in queen and king).

These are our budget pick for best pillow, btw!

    8. And a shaggy faux-fur duvet cover lined with soft velvet on the underside (and grab a fluffy all-season duvet insert if you need one). With bedding this luxurious, who could blame you for wanting to stay curled up in bed all evening — and, heck, maybe hibernate the rest of the year.

One side is faux fur and the other side is plush velvet; the twin set comes with one pom-pom fringed pillow sham, and other size sets include two.

Promising review: "If my house caught on fire, this is the first thing I’d grab. But seriously, this is one of my favorite things in my whole house. I feel like it tied my entire room together. I get so many compliments on it and it's seriously so cozy and well made. My only complaint would be how hard this thing makes it to get out of bed in the mornings. It’s incredibly soft and isn’t the type of 'fur' that will mat and get gross-looking over time. I rely heavily on reviews when I buy things so I’m here to tell you — if you’re on the fence about buying this ... do it!! Also, the pillowcases are amazing also. Super soft and the pom-pom fringe is adorable." —SK

Get it from Amazon for $51.99+ (available in sizes twin–king and 35 colors).

    9. A bed canopy that'll make your bedroom feel like even more of cozy hideaway, and it adds a lil' extra privacy, too. If you always wanted one of these as a kid, now's the time to heal your inner child a little — because you're an adult, and it's your money to spend on things that make you happy.

Hang some vines and/or fairy lights to really add to that fairytale vibe! It can also help serve as a room divider. This particular one comes in a square shape (as shown above) or a dome shape (which you can see here).

Promising review: "So cute, so easy to install! Literally like four hooks and tie backs and you're done. Jazz it up with some twinkle lights (not included) and you are golden. I swear that, laying in bed at night, I feel like a princess. Especially because I always wanted one of these as a little girl. 😇" —Krystle

Get it from Amazon for $17.99+ (available in eight styles, including two shapes and a light-up version).

Promising reviews: "Great little headboard lamps. Make reading before going to sleep a joy. No more trying to find the right light angle." —Gurpreet

"I use it instead of the room ceiling lamp. It's very convenient for reading in bed without disturbing your partner's sleep, and you can adjust its position along the bed's headboard to suit your need." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $37.99 (also available in a set of two).

    11. Or a comfortable neck reading light that'll illuminate your reading material and not much else, if you have roommates or a snoozing partner nearby. Reviewers also love it for better lighting while crafting with their hands (crochet, cross-stitch, etc.) or even while typing on a keyboard in a dimly lit room!

Promising review: "I love this book light soooo much! I will never buy another kind again! It’s comfortable, adjustable, the charge lasts a long time, and it has different brightness and light color options. It has made my reading experience so much better at night. I don’t have to clip it on my books and ruin the pages or worry about it slipping off. I highly recommend this for bed readers or couch readers. And the ability to adjust the brightness and position the lights helps it to not disturb my partner when he sleeps." —Aime Mangone

Get it from Amazon for $17.50+ (available in eight colors).

Promising review: "Pictures cannot do this product justice. The colors are much more drastic when the sun or headlights at night hit this. It can look like stained glass. We needed an affordable fix for our side windows by the front door. Small custom blinds were very expensive, and curtain panels seemed old-school. We were looking for something unique. This privacy film is perfect and more artsy than we expected. We get compliments from friends and the bonus of rainbows on the wall or carpet on sunny mornings! It’s a vinyl cling, so it’s super easy to put on or take off." —Charmayne

Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in 11 sizes).

Promising review: "Absolutely adore this lamp! I almost want to purchase one for every room and as a gift for every friend. It casts such a pretty, soothing light and I love the dimmer. I doubt that, from a scientific perspective, the amount of number ions released really does much as far as 'air purification' goes, but it is a lovely mood-lifting addition to any room." —E. Bee

Get it from Amazon for $24.97.

    14. The Wand, a mini handheld filter that'll let you indulge in that evening glass of merlot (if you so choose) without the dreaded headache and congestion that sometimes comes with it.

Promising review: "When I placed my order for this tray I looked at the pics but did not realize how really cool this piece is. The ability to change the size is great, but I just love the different trays that are removable as well as the ability to put my phone and a Kindle in 'safe' areas of the tray. I found a perfect place for my TV remote should I want to watch TV and not read. I just got it and used it last night but it appears to be well-made, balanced, and offers versatility for the things you may want at your fingertips when taking a luxurious bath!" —SindiMcG

These come in six different scents: lavender, aloe, ocean, rose, milk, and olayer.

Promising review: "Disco in my bath! This product is such a nice distraction from a stressful life! The scents are not overpowering light and soothing, they don’t seem to deposit rings a real plus with a soaker tub! But the best part save the little center bit and set aside for a real party with wine and candles. Sending these out to stressed family now as random pick me ups." —Katrin Sullivan

"Due to some old wiring in our home, LED lights/bulbs tend to flicker. The incandescent Edison-style bulbs were the perfect solution. I like that they aren't too bright for our dining room and give off a warm, cozy, vintage feel (not bright daylight feel)." —Becky Phelps

My boyfriend recently surprised me by upgrading my TV setup with this backlight, and I've been so impressed with its performance already, especially when watching movies or playing video games. It's important to follow the instructions closely to ensure the color-matching looks correct (and Govee has a great instructional video on this), but we had no issues. The setup includes light strips that go around the back of your TV and a camera that subtly hangs over your TV at the top, which might seem weird at first, but it doesn't cover your screen at all and you forget it's there in no time.

The VIBES are simply unmatched whenever this backlight is turned on. One of the first things we put on to test it was Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour on Disney Plus, and it really lived up to the promise of immersion, extending out all of the incredible lighting production almost like it was happening in my living room. I posted a clip of it on my Instagram Stories and had one person message me, "Wow, it's like you're at the show." It really was (and I didn't even have to drop $300+ for the experience).

I have several other Govee products (and this backlight incorporates with them all seamlessly via the Govee app), but this is easily my favorite piece of lighting I've bought from them yet. As a night owl myself, I highly recommend it for anyone who spends much of their evening hours parked in front of the TV!

Get it from Amazon for $79.99+ (available in two sizes for TVs measuring 55"–85").

Promising review: "No joke, these are pretty much exactly the same as my Skims lounge set for half the price. The pants graze the tops of my feet even when I wear them high-waisted at my belly button, so I think they’re plenty long. The robe is like wearing a blanket, but still looks put together. Anyway, I’m back here to buy a second color because I loved them so much!" —Jenna

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed, www.amazon.com

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord has nothing but good things to say about this lamp: "First of all, it really does look hyper realistically like a small moon and adds a chill vibe wherever you plant it. But it's also just so soothing to watch and have in the periphery. You can control dozens of different colors for it and either keep it on those colors or have them alternate, fade quickly, or fade gradually. It's super easy to charge and controlled by a remote, so you can move it off its stand and have it light up wherever you want. These days I tend to turn it on for my designed ~me time~ night every week, in which I will light a candle, pour a glass of red wine, read a romance novel, and, of course, light my lil' moon. Definitely one of my favorite 'the internet made me do it' purchases."

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed, www.amazon.com

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord says, "Our family recently unearthed this because beloved To All The Boys I've Loved Before author Jenny Han mentioned that it was her secret to delicious popcorn, and it may have just wrecked me for other at-home popcorn for the rest of my life. It genuinely tastes just as salty and buttery and savory as fresh movie theater popcorn. I inhaled it so fast that every single one of my organs lit up in mild alarm."

Promising review: "I used to use Flavacol during my time working at an amusement park and popping popcorn for hungry guests, so I knew this was what the 'professionals' use. I am happy to report that using this does make your popcorn taste like it was just popped at a movie theater. I like to put a little bit of oil on my kernels, mix in some Flavacol, and then add it to the pot of oil on my stove top when it's hot enough (as opposed to sprinkling it on top of freshly popped corn, which I could see easily accidentally adding too much). It also means that I'm no longer loading up my popcorn with additional toppings like butter or plain salt. Yum!" —Kate R.

Hello, I bought this night-light on a whim a few months ago and it might be the best $6 I've ever spent in my life. I have it plugged into an outlet near the floor of my kitchen, near my cats' water fountain and food bowls, and it surprisingly provides a good amount of light to see by — not to mention looking absolutely ADORABLE. Seriously, I have to take a moment to appreciate this light every time I walk into the kitchen at night — the way it changes colors is so beautiful! And I *love* that it adds some extra light near the ground for my cats to see their food and water, too. The light flips on automatically when it gets dark, so you don't have to remember to turn it on and off. Also, you might have to gently pull apart / "fluff" the leaves and mushrooms a bit since they come a bit squished inside the packaging, but they'll take on a good shape in no time.

Get it from Amazon for $5.99

    29. A set of flameless candles to enhance your mood lighting while also tricking your entire family and any visitors into thinking they're real (at least at a glance), since the "flame" actually flickers.

Promising review: "I cannot say how much I love these candles. I bought two more sets the night after I got my first set. They have made my house so cozy, and created such a homey environment. They honestly have helped transform the look of my home and I wish I could afford to cover my entire house in them. I loved them so much then I discovered the flicker setting. They look like real candles when you do this setting. It’s amazing. 10/10." —Emily Henegar

Promising review: "Made a $60 PC chair feel luxurious. I bought a very low-budget ergonomic mesh pc chair and use this for some extra butt cushion. Helps so much. Promising review: "Amazing. Never in all my life did I believe I could find a product that combined my love of brownies and microwaving so seamlessly. It is inconceivably easy to use, and even comes with a multi-measuring device if you've nary a clean measuring cup in sight. Serves up the perfect single size amount of brownies one might tackle in one sitting on a typical Tuesday night (half batch of brownies). Lulu Candles is a US-based small business that specializes in scented candles and perfumes. This candle is made with non-toxic vegan soy wax and a 100% cotton wick.

Promising review: "I was staying over at a friend's house and sitting next to her coffee table. She had this candle on the table and even though it wasn't lit I could smell it, and it was so delicious that I instantly went online to find it and bought it for myself! If this came in a perfume I would buy enough to last the rest of my life. I don't know how to even explain the scent but if you are an amber/patchouli/vanilla fan, this is absolutely for you. The jasmine adds an unbelievable freshness without a flowery scent. I even bought the shampoo and conditioner, which I will probably use as more of a body wash and shaving cream but that is how desperate I am to get this scent on me!" —Melissa I.

Get it from Amazon for $19.95+ (available in six sizes, in gift box options, in packs of two, and in a variety of scents).

Promising review: "For the price you can’t beat it. Super easy to install and lightweight. The gold had a slight orange tint to it, so be mindful of that. I actually just taped over the light and spray painted ours with gold spray paint I had left over and then they were absolutely perfect." —Paris Seder

    34. A popular checkerboard throw blanket, an *essential* accessory no matter where you decide to cozy up and enjoy your evenings. It'll look gorgeous in your space, but more importantly, it's luxuriously soft — so much so that reviewers compare it to the popular (but much pricier) Barefoot Dreams throw.

Promising review: "This blanket beats others because it is softer (a buttery and fluffy feeling), it is long enough for a 5'10 tall person, it is not too light and not too heavy (works year-round in Virginia), and it has a stretch to the material that I haven’t experienced with other soft blankets. The design is just so-so, but the colors are nice, and the price is right. If they updated the designs with more colors, patterns, then these would be absolutely perfect. I like this as much as my much more expensive Barefoot Dreams blanket and Williams Sonoma faux-fur blanket." —JH

Get it from Amazon for $39.59+ (available in seven colors and three sizes).

    35. A pack of light-dimming stickers, because the only lights you want on are the cozy ones that are part of your ambiance, not the blinking lights from your electronics that are *not* the vibe (and just destined to keep you up when you do, eventually, try to sleep).

Promising review: "Did you ever get some kind of new electronics device that included an LED that you'd swear was bright enough to be used to send Morse code messages to Venus? Did you ever try to actually sleep with that device in your bedroom, where you're almost playing out Poe's 'A Tell-Tale Heart' in real life? Here's the solution to the problem. These small stickers come in various sizes and can be used to tame intolerably bright LEDs. The only trick is to use a small knife to remove them from the backing (taking care not to cut yourself). Once applied, the LEDs are nowhere near as bright. Of course, if you have a super-bright LED, you can always double up. Highly recommended." —A. Mullen
