Response to Disney Apparently Has A “Really, Really Difficult” Time Animating Female Characters’ Emotions:
It’s funny that they are criticizing Disney animators’ ability to animate female characters’ emotion when their prime example, Frozen, hasn’t even hit the theaters. Also, Rapunzel went through plenty of emotions and was animated very feminine in Tangled. I don’t this article is even talking about animating emotion… it seems they are talking about design. Because Marc Davis, Glen Keane, Milt Kahl, Andreas Deja and other animators were completely able to animate female character emotions. This article is ridiculous.
