What Happened When This Woman Ordered A Dress Online Captures The Online Shopping Struggle

What you see isn’t always what you get.

1. A woman in China recently ordered this dress from a website called Taobao, which is essentially a Chinese version of Amazon.

2. The dress is styled after one actress Jaimie Alexander wore to the Thor premiere in 2013.

3. While it’s not the exact dress Alexander wore, you have to admit it certainly looks like it.

4. Well, when the dress finally came, it wasn’t exactly as advertised.

At least not for a normal-looking human who isn’t having all of their bits excessively photoshopped.

5. Regardless, the woman still posted photos of herself in the dress on the seller’s page.

6. Needless to say, this dress perfectly captures the pitfalls of online shopping.

This post has been updated to clarify that the weird-ass dress is the problem, not the body!
