1. Jay Z
America knows Jay-Z as the superstar rapper married to Beyonce, but he’s also an active entrepreneur and part owner of the New Jersey Nets basketball team. With all of this working behind the scenes and a wife that makes buckets of cash in her own time, it’s no surprise that she bought him a $1.3 million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his birthday. As one of the fastest cars in the world, it can go from zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of around 255mph! While we may think this is pretty cool, the birthday gift was probably just a walk in the park considering Mr. Z already owned a Rolls Royce Phantom, Ferrari F430 Spider, Maybach 62S and a Pagani Zonda Roadster.
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger
As a result of being in one-too-many action hero movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California, has a thing for hummers. More often than not he can be spotted in a bright yellow Hummer H1 or this authentic army green Humvee.
3. Samuel L. Jackson
Speaking of Maybachs, one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and serial offenders of totally random cameo appearances, Samuel L. Jackson is also a proud owner of this elegant machine. In true Samuel L. form, you know you’re loaded when you can buy a half a million-dollar car and proudly pose for the picture in a full sweat suit!
4. David Beckham
A British soccer (football) player who now plays as a midfielder for the Los Angeles Galaxy, David Beckham turned heads when he posted his gorgeous matte black Porsche Turbo on eBay. Although we’re not sure what he’s driving now, this sleek looking bullet went for well over $200,000 during the online auction.
5. John Mayer
We’re not sure what we expected the jazzy-bluesy-pop artist John Mayer to drive, but it surely wasn’t this baby blue and orange Ford GT. Maybe it’s because he is reportedly 6’ 3” but this miniature two-door racing car doesn’t seem to fit his laid-back hippy persona.
6. Bill Gates
As someone who can clearly afford any automobile ever produced, you might find it surprising that the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has an undying affinity for the Porche brand. In fact, if you opened his garage today, you’d find a 1999 Porsche 911 Convertible and a 1988 Porsche 959 Coupe. Although these are the cars somewhat humble cars that you’d see him joyriding in on a Sunday, you’re sure to be impressed by his jaw-dropping limousine!
7. Paris Hilton
Heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune, Paris Hilton was born into a convenient set of financial circumstances and it has afforded her her very own custom pink Bentley a car that is most likely worth $300,000 or more.
8. LeBron James
As the former crowd favorite and King of the NBA (when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers), LeBron James is now one of the most hated individuals on the basketball court since his move to Miami. That said, something tells us hes not too concerned with Joe Schmo’s opinion considering his $110 million contract and the Ferrari F430 Spider in his garage.
9. Tom Cruise
Although his popularity is decreasing as of late, Tom Cruise has made a blockbuster name for himself and as a result, he’s been spotted in a Bugatti Veyron. To give you a frame of reference on this fine automobile, if this car was financed with 20% down ($50,000) and a 48-month loan at 8%, the monthly payment would be $23,192.
10. Kim Kardashian
Rounding out the list of Stars and their Cars is the one and only Kim Kardashian. Known mostly for her wealthy father Robert Kardashian and the Paris Hilton esque celebrity status that followed the cash flow, the LA socialite drives a pretty pimp Bentley Continental with some custom elements and a Range Rover.
