I've been in the Social Media long enough to know how brutal and terrifyingly homophobic Filipinos can be. Especially since the world's LGBT community have started making sounds about equal rights and anti-discrimination campaigns.

Because it seems like most of us are.

Reasons such as religion, 'this is not the west', 'it's a sin', are why homophobia is not just deem right but also something to be proud of.

Gay rights

are human rights.

It does not take being a part of the LGBT community to realize that. It takes being human.

"There is no race, no religion, no class system, no color, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else — we're all deserving of love."

Second-Class Citizens

When the Philippines LGBT community will soon gain a stronger voice and stance that will finally push the long, painful fight for respect and equality; I want people to realize that being gay is not a choice- but being a bigot is.
