Poll: Would You Listen To Audiobooks On Vinyl?

One book publisher is releasing a series of audiobooks in the form of vinyl records this year.

Audiobooks are typically an easy, convenient way to read books while on-the-go.

But HarperAudio, a division of book publisher HarperCollins, is releasing a series of audiobooks in the form of vinyl records starting April of this year.

According to Publisher's Weekly, the new audiobook series will include vinyl editions of Joe Hill's Wild Horses, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events #1: The Bad Beginning, and Nikki Giovanni's Love Poems.

The vinyl audiobook series will launch in April with Wild Horses Vinyl Edition (including an MP3 version) by Joe Hill. The title is, as HC put it, a “vinyl-first” release. ... Other vinyl-first editions coming this year include Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events #1: The Bad Beginning and poet Nikki Giovanni’s Love Poems. HarperAudio vinyl titles will be distributed by Wax, an indie record label that specializes in the format.
