September 24th marks 25 years since Boy Meets World premiered.
Then: By the time he landed the role of the iconic teacher, William Daniels had already been acting for nearly 40 years. His most famous roles included St. Elsewhere (for which he won two Emmys), The Graduate, and voicing K.I.T.T. on Knight Rider.
Now: Daniels reprised his role of Mr. Feeny for five episodes of Girl Meets World. Before that, he voiced K.I.T.T once again for the Lego Dimensions video game in 2015, and had an arc on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Craig Thomas in 2012.
Then: Rider Strong appeared in multiple shows before playing America's favorite best friend, including an episode of Home Improvement. He also played Adam McGuire on Julie Andrews' short-lived sitcom, Julie.
Now: Since playing Shawn Hunter, Strong's most famous appearances have been in the Cabin Fever movies. He also appeared in seven episodes of Girl Meets World during its three-season run. He currently voices Tom Lucitor on Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
Then: Will Friedle's first role was hosting an episode of the Nickelodeon teen talk show, Don't Just Sit There. He also made appearances on multiple shows, including Law & Order and Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
Now: Friedle came back to play Eric for four episodes of Girl Meets World. He's now a prominent voice actor, lending his vocals to many characters on many cartoons. His roles include Kid Flash on Teen Titans Go! and Peter Quill on the Guardians of the Galaxy show.
Then: Formally Lily Nicksay, the original Morgan was only five when the series aired. She continued playing the role until season three when she was replaced by Lindsay Ridgeway.
Now: Lily reprised her role as Morgan alongside Lindsay in the series finale of Girl Meets World. Over the last few years, she has appeared in multiple short films and an episode of The Mentalist.
Then: Betsy Randle began her television career in 1988, appearing in episodes of Dear John, Family Ties, and Baywatch. She had a recurring role on Home Improvement as Karen Kelly until landing the part of Amy.
Now: Randle made two appearances during the run of Girl Meets World. She was last seen in the thriller My Little Girl Is Gone and will be in the upcoming film Painter.
Then: The third William made many television appearances in the '80s, including two episodes of his future co-star's show, St. Elsewhere. He played Roger LoCocco on Wiseguy and Redmond Dunne on Capital News before playing Alan.
Now: Russ made two appearances on Girl Meets World and has been continuing to thrive in television. He's appeared in multiple episodes of Colony, Bosch, and can be seen in the upcoming film, Chasing the Rain.
Then: While Minkus wasn't technically in the pilot, he was featured in the opening credits, so we say it counts. Norris' first role was playing Chuckie Lee Torkelson on The Torkelsons and Almost Home.
Now: Lee Norris played Minkus again during five episodes of Girl Meets World. His biggest role to date was playing Marvin "Mouth" McFadden on One Tree Hill. He recently appeared in the film Gone Girl, two episodes of The Walking Dead, and will be featured in the 2019 film, Greyhound.
Then: Okay, so Topanga didn't show up until the fourth episode of the series, but it wouldn't be right to leave her out! Fishel's first television role was playing Jennifer P. in two episodes of Full House.
Now: Fishel starred in Girl Meets World for its entire run. Before that, she voiced Pyronica in multiple episodes of Gravity Falls and appeared in the film Boiling Pot.
