So, you're young, concerned about the world, and voted for Sanders. Well, before you abstain from voting for Clinton, think over these 7 things that are like voting for Clinton over Trump.

1. It's like choosing between a salad with some hair in it and hair with some salad in it

3. Taking a 15 minute nap instead of having no nap

Clinton's platform even if it gets the country to be more progressive by an inch is worth it. With Trump it's going at least a foot back.

Even though Clinton has been surrounded by corruption throughout the past 25 years, you at least know what you're going to get.

5. Going to see an average doctor and not a guy who says he'd be a great doctor

It makes no sense to hire someone who has never had remote experience doing the job they are applying for. So, why would you elect someone to the most powerful position in the world. that has no actual experience?

6. A bank that stays open an extra 30 minutes

Sure, for most people that extra 30 minutes doesn't matter, but for some it helps. Sure, Clinton won't do much to help BLM, LGBTQ rights, and other groups fighting for justice. However, she'll at least help some.

7. Voting in pretty much every Presidential Election

In a democracy you have many voices. The more democratic a society is the more voices you have. That means people with different viewpoints, people who are not informed, and people who are filled with hate. Yes, corruption is a problem. Though is not voting Clinton going to solve it?

If a Trump administration reflects your views more than a Clinton administration that is fine. It's your choice after all. But if you are fighting for Progressive values sometimes you have to concede. You can't have every candidate you want win, but you have to vote often. You have to stay active.

Politics is not a 4 year thing. It's not just about the President. It's not just about Senators and Reps that come to DC on your behalf. It's about local and state level politics. It's about helping the community you live in and the one's around you. Clinton will not change things. You have to change things. It's just that at least after 4 or 8 years there will be something left to change.
