Though December is the time to get into the holiday spirit, I think this Christmas sweater that Walmart put up on its site (and has since taken down) solicited a different type of holiday cheer.
The sweater in question featured an image of Santa Claus sitting at a table with three white lines in front of him — lines people on Twitter think is cocaine.
Ummm....excuse me?
Walmart, we gotta talk. Because this has "hell nah" written all over it.
Y'all...this description?! Santa using grade-A, Colombian snow?! Who wrote this?!
People on twitter were confused...like this person who wasn't understanding what was happening:
After the sweater was criticized on social media, Walmart issued an apology. “These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” the statement said.
And if you hypothetically liked the sweater, too bad. “We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.” Maybe next Christmas!
