From least awful to most terrible. Based on overall presentation and battle skills.

10. Ramos

Poor guy. Such a sweet old man and such a beautiful gym. Lets be real though, those shears should be replaced by a walker. He stood no chance.

9. Roark

Roark was endearing, but his gym set up was less than exciting. I think we can also all agree that Geodude, Onix, and Cranidos were a bore. I dont even want to think about the hat hair he gets from that helmet.

8. Roxanne

You used a Nosepass. Need I say more? Props to the bows she has going on though. At least the girl knows how to accessorize.

7. Jasmine

Jasmine had a lot going for her minus the entire plot of rescuing "Amphy". She should have come back full swing to put up a good fight which sadly wasnt the case.

6. Chili/Cilan/Cress

Besides the obvious creepy obsession they had with each other, each of these brothers was significantly lacking in the strength department. There were three of them and they still couldn't stand up for themselves. Sorry men, you'd be better off starting a boy band with a few Jigglypuffs.

5. Bugsy

This guy was so passionate about what he loved...which was collecting bug Pokemon. A few fire moves later and this poor guy was toast. Stick to Entomology, little guy and work on getting your smores making badge while you're at it.

4. Falkner

After so much anticipation about the flying type, who would dare to challenge the almighty Falkner? Oh right, everyone. He sent out Pidgey and Pidgeotto and expected to dazzle his opponents. Bye, Bye Birdie.

3. Valerie

If she wasnt so concerned about being Pokemon's next fashion icon, she may have put up a better fight. So much potential smothered by a pair of big awkward butterfly wings. As Heidi Klum would tell her "You're out".

2. Clemont

After so much hype from his little sister, youd think this guy was the next Chuck Norris. Turns out he's an eight year old with a love for technology. His gym was laborious to get through because who really likes bad trivia? Sorry Clemont, you should focus more on passing the fourth grade. In the end, Clemont proved to be rather weak and an easy defeat.

1. Burgh

Burgh is not only the weakest gym leader to date, his theatrics were laughable at best. His breakout of the "cocoon" (aka a white sheet!?) was comical and his battle arena looked like he was painting a baby's nursery. Also...ten points from Hufflepuff for the neck scarf action/striped pants going on. Sorry, Burgh. You are the weakest link.
