I grew up on reruns of The Golden Girls, AbFab, Keeping Up Appearances, The Jeffersons, Mama's Family, Roseanne, The Carol Burnett Show, Laverne & Shirley, I Love Lucy, and Designing Women. I've been addicted to television and female comedians ever since. My newer televisual obsessions include: The Good Wife, The Mindy Project, Cougar Town, Nurse Jackie, Mad Men, Veep, 30 Rock, Girls, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Looking, Getting On, OITNB, House of Cards, Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Supernatural, Downton Abbey, Empire, Scandal, The Strain, Fargo, Dexter, The League, Justified, Archer, Desperate Housewives, The Office, Top Chef, Shah of Sunset and The Real Housewives of (so many cities)--and so many others I can't remember. I've written a few scripts--so what, who cares. Actually, I do.
