Let’s not even bother pretending that most young people don’t make this joke at least once. We get it, alright? Our house majority leader’s name could be pronounced like an erect penis. But what about people Dutch Ruppersberger? Rodney Frelinghuysen? Joe Heck? Debbie Stabenow? (That last one is a little frightening)

Point is, there are a lot of funny names in congress. Maybe we should spend more time examining his MODERATE policies than the ridiculous nature of his name.

It is kind of terrifying how much control for profit companies have over medical decisions that are LITERALLY LIFE AND DEATH. However, let’s take a step back here and acknowledge that maybe The Affordable Care Act might be a bit too much of a jump when we’re 17 trillion dollars in debt. I ultimately support private health care in its purest form- privatization encourages competition, the best quality product/care for the lowest possible price.

Still, there has to be a better way of doing this. But, isn’t there something a little off putting about providing a mass service to the American people when 17 trillion dollars in debt... Just saying... Maybe we prioritize some budget reform...

Granted, I’m from the northeast and you’re hard pressed to find a young Republican in the first place. Finding a homophobic young Republican? Even more difficult.

I think most young conservatives understand that we have no right to dictate who loves who- because come on, that’s just common sense. For the record, I’m pro-choice too.
